…And I would
also like a large pepperoni; hey I have to eat too.
Anyway…
(…means now back to the story). “Horon I don’t think we will find him anytime
soon I mean we have been out here for a month and haven’t found a single clue”
said Quin.
“I know, but
I really hoped that we would find him.”
“I think we
have searched every inch of Humar (which was the area that they saw the raiders
run of too).
“Then let us
go back to the castle, but can we do a search every two weeks?”
“I swear it will be done.” So, with that the
group went back to the castle were Horon was trained in sword fighting and archery. Every two weeks they would go out again looking for Alkon. Two
years later, the king passed away at a very old age and after three days of
mourning the prince asked Horon to come and talk with him. While they were
walking in the throne room Horon asked, “I have always wondered why there are
all those cuts and holes in the walls could you tell me?”
“Twelve
years ago the raiders attacked when we were weak because we had just sent out
our best men to destroy a dragon that was burning down villages. We fought but
they pushed us back all the way to here, we were losing but just then- out of nowhere- a man ran in and challenged the captain of their army. It was
a long dual, but in the end the man won and that man,Horon, was your father.”
Horon was speechless and finally when he was about to say something he heard a
man say, “Horon, we think we have found your father!”
